Lianne Macaraeg
Analyst
Lianne is a fast learner who is not afraid to tackle new challenges. Based out of our Philippines office, she is quietly confident, organised, shows great initiative and is not afraid to ask questions or get clarification on definitions as she gets her head around learning a completely new system to her in Australian Taxation.
Having grown up in the urban environment of Tarlac City, Lianne managed to get through her schooling, study Bachelor of Science (Accountancy) at Tarlac City University as well as find work in Accounting all within her childhood city.
The eldest of three children, she is the responsible one who has a quiet cheekiness that sparkles as she speaks. Leading the way for the next generation in her family, it was her mother who first recommended to Lianne to become an accountant – for an accountant is required in every type of business. No matter what peaks your interest, you can utlise your accounting skills across many different industries, products and services and nor is there any geographical limit to how wide your customers might reach.
Lianne is not afraid to try new things, loves to problem solve and enjoys working and brainstorming within a team.
A new mother, Lianne has tackled the steep learning curve of being a new parent with grace and has a deeper gratitude for work. Although she loves spending time with her baby it’s been a lovely respite to come back to work and sink her teeth into being productive and to dive into the details and dependability of numbers especially with her family so close.
